Exterior Head Jamb for Double Door (Primed Poplar)

One-piece head jamb for exterior double doors. Solid poplar construction provides unparalleled durability, stability, and ease of installation.

Key Specifications:

• Designed for pairs of exterior doors 1 3/4" thick with an astragal between them
• Length: 2 x (door slab width + 1/4") + 1/2" for the astragal. Select the width of each door slab (23.75" to 41.75"); the head jamb length is shown with each size. For example, two 35.75" (3/0) doors take a 72.5" head jamb.
• Depth: Select 4 9/16", 6 9/16", or 8 9/16"
  • 4 9/16" are standard depth jambs for typical (2x4) construction
  • 6 9/16" are extended depth jambs for (2x6) construction
  • 8 9/16" are oversize depth jambs that can be trimmed to fit thick walls (e.g., 2x8 construction, masonry walls)
• Thickness: 1 1/4" including stop (thicker section), 3/4" not including stop (thinner section)
