Replacement Door Sweep
Brown slide-on sweep for 32", 36", and 42" wide doors. Can easily be trimmed to fit narrower (e.g., 30", 28", etc.) doors.
Premium replacement door sweep for Pease Steel or Wood Doors (Ever-Straight, Homestead, Trooper, Registry) made between 1978 and 2000.
Key measurements: 5/8" between tracks, 1/8" track height (note that the fiberglass door slide on sweep has a taller 3/16" track height - see picture below)

This item is exactly what I was looking for to replace my existing 30 year old under door weatherstrip. I originally purchased a similar item from Lowes, but the material was hard vinyl and wouldn't fit correctly. Then I did some research and found out the type of door I have and realized that the PEASE website sells replacement weatherstrip for their door. The item came quickly and the material was flexible. I sprayed WD40 under the door and the slit part of the weatherstrip. The weatherstrip slid under the door like butter!!!!! I am so thrilled as the installation took only a few minutes (spraying and sliding). My front door is now complete as this weatherstrip will prevent insects from crawling and draft air flowing into my house. I highly recommend getting the PEASE under door weatherstrip as it fits and slides more easily than other competitors.
The 36-inch door sweep was a perfect match for the old damaged one. I squirted a little bit of regular household oil in the tracks on the end I planned on sliding on first, then some more a few inches down about halfway through, and spread it out in the tracks with a flat head screwdriver. The lubricated end slid right on, and I pushed as much of it on as I could by hand, and finished the job off with light taps from a rubber mallet. No bugs will be crawling in under the door, and there will be no draft this winter. Our steel Pease Door is in great shape, and it still looks like new after 26 years. Only its door sweep needed to be replaced. I love Pease Doors. I could have looked around for some competitor's cheap knockoff or bought the door sweep online somewhere else, but I prefer to support American-owned businesses like Pease Doors so that they grow and create jobs. I hope you will, too.

The door sweep slid right in without having to remove the door.
Worked well. I ordered the wrong item initially (maybe more differentiation could be made between the two styles of sweep?), but the new (correct) item was quickly shipped and the return of the incorrect item was faultless.
The door sweep looked cheaply made. It was beat up a bit when it arrived (the shipping box was not scarred at all). I am not certain how log the door sweep will last.

Well made premium weatherstrip. Rubber fins on vinyl base. Easy to install-precut to fit my 36" door. Shipping was $9 on a $16 item but it was well packaged and in perfect condition. Unfortunately the sweep will not last long because the door doesn't fit properly in the frame. The threshold gap is waay too tight- with adjustable threshold cranked all the way down, the exterior 45°fin that should provide rain shelter cannot flip out as seen in the photo. After 30 years of screwing with this I am looking at new doors now and Pease is not a front runner due to this threshold problem and glass that fogged after 15 years. That's a shame, because the weatherstrip system is potentially awesome.
The new door sweep made our 38 year old Pease steel door look brand new. Great support after all these years.
The weatherstrip slid right into the slot with very little effort. It only took a couple of minutes to replace the old one.
This is a 35 year old entry door that I refurbished. The sweep and the seals fit correctly.

Easy on,didnt even have to remove door,just slid old one out,slid new one in,fit perfect. Veteran discount would be a nice touch but yes perfect fit. Thanks
Best customer service. They had my previous order in their database when I called. That made replacing my door sweep easy and quick. It came in a box so it was NOT all bent up or twisted.
I have older Pease metal doors, installed when the house was built in 1987. These are only 1 5/8” wide. I replaced three very worn door sweeps. I was hesitant in taking on this project because all of the other door sweeps were designed for 1 3/4” doors and finding the correct sweep was tedious. I used the Pease D1900 and D19054 sweeps — because of different door widths. I had to take one door down to remove the old sweep. The other two were replaced with the doors remaining in place. I sprayed silicone in the tracks and moved it about with a toothpick to make sure the inside of the tracks were fully lubricated. I was pleasantly surprised about the easy of replacing the old sweeps. Caution: the old fiberglass doors need a different part number.

Reworked our circa 1987 entry door, replacing the plastic window moldings with solid oak, stripping all paint from the door and painting it a modern color. Saw that the bottom weatherstripping had seen better days, so contacted Pease, who wasted no time sending a new door bottom.

The 36 inch Pease Slide-On Steel Door Sweep worked well initially, but it only held up for one season. The rubber part on the bottom that is supposed to keep the cold air out peeled off, so the seal became ineffective. Since the door sweep deteriorated so quickly, I had to purchase another one.

Sweeps looks great.
I removed the old door sweep from the door that goes to the garage to see what kind I needed and compared to the pictures on the web sight. I didn't remove the one on the front door as I figured they were both the same and didn't want to leave a big crack for bugs to come in until I could replace it. I ordered two of the same door sweeps and they arrived quickly. I put the one on to the garage very easily. Put some liquid soap on it as the directions suggested and slid it right on. Got to the front door and took the old one off and they were not the same. The door had to come off and a different door sweep to fit back. I searched the Pease web site but could not find one like the old one that was on the door so had to go to local store to get one and install it. Had to take the door off and tap the new one in. Works great. Will save the one that didn't fit for another door if it will work. Didn't figure it was worth the cost in returning it.
Arrived on time. Poorly packaged. Damaged in transit. Bent. Dissapointed.

Replaced this door sweep in less than 5 minutes and it fits perfectly.
The hardest part was getting the old one off.
I ordered a Pease door slide in weatherstrip for the door at my home. The old ones would allow rain inside my garage when it stormed. I removed the door and laid it on sawhorses and then I removed the weatherstripping off the door by using a hammer and a large diameter punch so it would slide off. I cleaned the bottom of the door and then I applied some Dawn soap to the entire length of the door rails. I carefully slid on the new Pease weatherstripping. The soap made it pretty easy, you just have to be careful to go slow and toward the end of pushing it on, I used a short piece of two by four to get the last couple inches. Fit like the original and stopped my water leak, plus drafts. Thanks!
This weatherstrip fits our garage door perfect. The ants and spiders will be very disappointed.

The old sweep had to be pried out with a screwdriver. I could not install the new one with the door in place. The door was removed with the help of a neighbor. The glass alone, which we previously replaced was 90 pounds. I cleaned the slots with a wire brush and lubed the channels with dry silicon spray. After lubing the sweep with liquid detergent, we still could not slide the sweep on completely. Gentle tapping with the side of a hammer did the trick. We rehung the door and all is well!
While replacing the plastic cracked window trim on the exterior steel door with wood trim, I figured after sanding and repainting my 35 year old door, my as well replace the bottom seal. l went on line and Pease had exactly what I needed to complete my project. The door bottom weather strip fit like the original. Just wish it also came in the Ivory color like the original was instead of just the brown color. Anyway, it seals the space between the bottom of door and threshold.
It arrived on time. Took Just a free minutes to install easy no issues. Tip : spray little WD 40 on the track. Goes in nice and easy. Recommend this product.
Another job well done 👍 It took less than five minutes to slide out the worn out door sill and slide in the new door sill.
