Exterior Head Jamb for Door with Sidelite (Primed Poplar)

One-piece head jamb for an exterior door with one sidelite, mortised for the mull post. Solid poplar construction provides unparalleled durability, stability, and ease of installation.

Key Specifications:

• For one exterior door 1 3/4" thick with one sidelite, joined by a mull post (sold separately)
• Length: (door slab width + 1/4") + (sidelite panel width + 1/8") + 1 1/2" mull post. Select your door slab width (29.75", 31.75", 33.75", 35.75" or 41.75"), then which side the sidelite is on viewed from the exterior and its panel width.
• Sidelite widths: 9.875", 11.875" and 13.875" sidelite panels, or a 23.75" door slab used as a sidelite panel
• Comes mortised for the mull post: 2 1/2" wide x 1/2" deep, centered on the 1 1/2" mull post (the mortise starts 3/8" short of the sidelite panel width, measured in from the sidelite end). The mortise is off-center, so left and right versions are different parts.
• Need a different door or sidelite size? Contact us and we can cut one to order.
• Depth: Select 4 9/16", 6 9/16", or 8 9/16"
  • 4 9/16" are standard depth jambs for typical (2x4) construction
  • 6 9/16" are extended depth jambs for (2x6) construction
  • 8 9/16" are oversize depth jambs that can be trimmed to fit thick walls (e.g., 2x8 construction, masonry walls)
• Thickness: 1 1/4" including stop (thicker section), 3/4" not including stop (thinner section)
