Very easy to install. We only changed from grates to a full view window and love it . I would highly recommend this product!

I was skeptical but product worked as advertised. Thanks.

Everything went well. I accidentally ordered the wrong glass thickness for the frame. They took it back, I ordered the right one and got it quickly. Refund was also quicker than I expected.
Only snag was the screw caps. Is there a trick to getting them in? Still struggling. Don't want to go in easily.

Noticed the plastic of my door/glass frame cracking on my old door, finally gave way, researched and found no one had any for sale.....except Pease Doors, ordered a new door/glass frame and it fit

I own a rental property in Erie. I live in California.... Needless to say, I needed customer service. The staff was great and helped me get the right product shipped to my contractor quickly. I will definitely refer them when possible.

The original door lite frame was cracked in several places as my front door is exposed to the sunlight all day, so in the process of not wanting to spend $3,500.00 for a new front door I was researching removing the plastic door lite frame and making a replacement frame from hardwood. In the process I stumbled across your website and seen that you had designed a replacement one that would handle the heat better so I decided to purchase it and give it a try. the only thing I would add to your instructions is after you put your silicone bead down and set the replacement glass in. do a dry assemble with the other frame so the weight of the glass does not bow the inner edge of the trim out and it will cure as if it was installed in the door frame . after letting it set up for 8 hours removed the other half that was dry assembled , caulked it and re assembled in the door. It would have been easier with a second person assisting but used suction cups to help set the glass and cured frame and in the door during assembly. I was please that it fit perfectly without having to perform any modifications and completed the repair for less than$200.00 and a littler bit of my time. We will see how this holds up over time . I would highly recommend this to anyone that has the same problem

I still have one more door to do but it's amazing the change it makes in the room.

Installation was easy

Absolutely perfect fit! The original frame was broken by the delivery company but I needed the door ASAP so I kept it with the damage. Your website was super easy to use and made selection of the correct item quick! I would strongly recommend it to anyone!

These really worked out by getting rid of the outdated grid pattern in our door and sidelites. Kind of pricey but cheaper and easier than replacing the whole door. The install isn't bad at all the worst part is removing the old glazing from the glass but just use denatured alcohol and a flat razor and it comes off fairly easy. If your a DIYer with some projects under your belt this is pretty easy.

Fast shipping.
Great customer service.

To our surprise, it was a perfect fit! Our door is nearly 25 years old and the business where we bought it is no longer. I called around to find the part/piece that we needed and got recommendations of who else to call. I finally was given what the part is actually called and did a Google search. Pease came up, part looked correct, placed a call to confirm. Received the part . We took extra care in properly preparing the opening, by removing old caulk and paint build up. It did take us pretty much all of a Sunday to prep and install. It paid off and I’m once again loving my entry door.

It was a pretty easy fix, however we are still unable to get two of the screws in as we just can’t get them to line up. Other than that great product.

Very flimsy the weight of the window creates a problem lining up the screws. Both my lites ran cracks. For me it was a waste of $316. I thought I could get away with this remedy, I was wrong. So now I’m replacing both doors.
Suggestion thicken up the base so there is no sagging.

Great product, great customer service, no issues. Very easy to install.

Didn't do it. Glass broke during the attemp to install, my bad.

Great Customer Service. Thank You

Installation was really easy and it looks great. The only complaint I have is the $50 shipping fee, it seems excessive.

Re-purposed a 23 yr. old door with glass frame, hinges, sweep & weather stripping. Couldn't have worked out better. Super fast shipping and updated parts. We love it. Thanks David!!!
Lee H.
Installation was medium difficulty as the glass is hard to keep steady and requires a second person to hold it in place . It also smashed my finger but thats not the door frames fault. It's in and holding great so far.

Our door is an old Stanley door and the 12 pane plastic frame around the glass had broken. It was amazing that there was a manufacturer that still made the replacement parts. The new frame fit perfectly and we would recommend them to anyone.
Tera G.
Easy to install but definitely take the door off to replace this glass insert.

So glad I could give my doors an updated look without replacing them. Easy to install but it is a two person job, just to be safe. Especially on a full door panel.
Previous I had a 15 pane frame on the door pictured. Fresh paint, new hardware and a great new glass frame and I love it.
Only issue was that several of the guide pins broke off when I inboxed and separated them, but no big deal. Still worth 4 stars!

It fit perfectly

Since buying our house more than 5 years ago, I have been wanting to replace the glass frame on our exterior door leading to our patio. Originally I thought I would make one myself, but I knew it was going to be troublesome. Finally, after doing a little research, I discovered just what I needed at Pease Doors. Unfortunately, in my rush to receive a new frame, I accidentally ordered for 3/4 inch glass instead of 1/2 inch, and panicked. But Pease Doors easily and quickly changed my order, and in no time at all, I received exactly what I needed.
Installation was easy...a lot easier than fabricating my own...and it fit nicely.

Frame kit fits perfectly, Pease doors includes extra screws too. I do have some tips for future installers. Take the door off it is much easier to put door on saw horses. (yes its Heavy) Silicone the door and place the inside frame on and let sit for at least a half hour. Get yourself a ratchet type offset screwdriver. I didn't want to take the chance of cracking the frame with a power driver. Screw frame to door while on the saw horse. If you have done the sidelights you will find this much easier. Hope this helps.

The frame was shipped promptly but unfortunately arrived broken. The company couldn’t have been better or reacted more quickly. I was sent a brand new one very fast and it was great. Thanks!

I made a phone call and provider the information and within three days my trim arrived intact. With the instruction, insulation was a breeze, I would recommend this company to anyone who needs the product they supply. Five stars in my book. I was told by two stores that I needed to replace the door. I went to the third store and with their help, we found Pease Door replacement parts. Can't go wrong.

Great customer support and fast shipping. Don't have pics of our project but very
pleased with the results, just takes a little planning.

Perfect fit and pretty easy to install.

When you think of great service, that's this company!! I had called several manufactures, even the people who manufactured our home. The disappointment that nobody made a replacement part for our patio door ,
My husband found you on the internet, Your integrity and return calls are really appreciated . Thank you for fast delivery and great service.

Easy to change out old frame for this one. No silicon is needed within frame. Mine is almost totally flat against door. You can use a small amount of silicon on outer part of frame where necessary to close any gaps

Fit perfectly :)

Easy to install.

The old glsss frame was broken in four places and split on the bottom. We eere looking at replacing the whole entrance but my wife loved the glass. We ordered the replacement which arrived in just a few days. New paint and trim and voila! An entrance looking like new!

Instead of buying a new door, I replaced the framing around mine. It looks brand new. This frame came quickly and was relatively easy to install!

I have received two separate orders that both included replacements for old (40 plus years) frames. The old frames had become brittle with age and sun. The first order of replacement frames had a new design with guide pins two align the screw holes, which was a big improvement. The second batch came with pre caulking which was another improvement.

The window frame that I purchased was a perfect match to the original that I replaced. It seemed a bit pricey compared to off-the shelf, generic replacements. But the quality was excellent, and there was no modification required for installation into a Pease door. Customer service at Peasedoor.com come was great.

When we built 40+ years ago we installed 14 Pease Doors. Exposure to sun cracked some of the frames and several windows had lost their seal. We under took sanding and painting 8 of the doors and replacing trim, sweep and glass. The new trim that has guides to line up screw holes is an improvement. The sweeps look to be a better design. We were able to get glass replacement locally with out shipping costs. I placed an order yesterday for two additional frame sets to replace old brittle frames.

Ordered the replacement kit, installed it and it looks great

The only reason to not give 5 stars is because the plugs to cover the screw holes don't fit, they cannot be pushed all the way in to get a flush fit like the original factory look. Could not set them fully with finger pressure alone. Trying to fully seat them with a wooden dowel and a tack hammer ruined the plugs. Thankfully there were a few extra plugs in the kit. I gave up after ruining three plugs attempting to get a flush set.

I have 2 sets of Pease French doors, 1983 vintage, with grids. Various people and pets had taken their toll on the interior grids to a point where they needed replacing. The doors are in great operational shape. This time around I wanted to dispense with the grids and originally thought about replacing all the doors. Since I was doing a remodel and had so many other expenses, I decided to see how I could more inexpensively rehab the doors. It was quite an online and in store search. Eventually I decided to inspect the doors to see who was the manufacturer, which lead me to your website. Thankfully you had the door frames I knew would fit my doors, which allowed for continued use of my existing doors rather than replacement. The only downside to the whole thing is there is a LOT of scraping of the windows needed to remove the adhesive from the old grids. But the result is that my doors look like new and I have a newly opened up view. I feel relatively certain these doors will still be operational in another 37 years. I would have to say that initially when my builder presented the idea of steel doors to me, I had wanted wood. He convinced me that where my house is located, on saltwater, that the steel doors made a lot more sense. He was 100% correct and the exterior of the doors show no wear and tear other than needing painting at this point. Thank you for building such a great and providing a way to maintain them now!
