Easy Installation
Our kit makes installation easy and quick. Frame kits come pre-caulked with non-sticky caulking that will never run or leak onto the door. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame, sandwiching the glass into place. More on installation.
High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)
Made of a high grade polypropylene, these frames are a big upgrade from the traditional polystyene frames and can handle all but the most extreme of heat conditions.
Frames are also maintenance free, so they do not require finishing. If you do choose to paint or stain these frames, you will need a special adhesion promoting primer, which can be found in our paint section, alongside a curated selection of great paint colors that are specially formulated for doors & door glass frames. 20 year old front door’s 15-opening grille was broken and patched here and there and was just a mess. Google got me to Pease’ website. The website questionnaire tool identified the replacement part needed. I had one question about the DIY process and called the Cincinnati number. The salesperson answered my question clearly and even sent me a video guide for installation. I ordered the grille and it arrived in 4 days. My daughter and I did the installation in about 2 hours. A little tricky holding the half inch glass in place when putting the glass and grille components together, but we did it. Very pleased.
It’s Spring 2026, weather is warming and decided to re-arrange the contents of the garages.
Look at this, the Pease delivery box in the back by the work branch and so, I decided to install it without my husband noticing since he sometimes overthinks these small changes.
The one photo shows how yellowed, broken , cracked and over old the last frame was and so, I did it. I replaced the new frame, taped the glass to the outside part if the frame and then attached the interior frame. Voila and look so much better.

Easy to install. Looks great. Wish we could afford to change out the other door, so we will share this product with the new owners when it sells and they can change out he fixed door grill.
Small cracked corner problem. Fixed with soldering iron.
One screw broke the post from the outside section but 17 are holding it. Too much trouble to do anything about that.

The frame arrived quickly and fit perfectly with my current door and glass. Swapping the frames was easy to do and took less than an hour to replace both frames. The glass was heavier than I anticipated and required 2 people to ensure it didn't break.
Outside of removing the old outside frame piece from the old door it was a simple project to do and I did it solo. Cutting the old caulking was a bit of a hassle but the new frame fit perfectly.
Measured the thickness of the glass and frame so it worked perfectly. Reused the old glass and it fit fine. Be sure to reinstall while on a completely flat surface so the holes lineup. The frame is flexible and unless it’s flat the frame will move out of place. Happy with the purchase. It even comes with hardware and plugs to cover the screw holes. Light silicone border for glass and frame pre installed. You may still want to caulk borders.
I would like to talk to somebody in customer service. We got the frames in and there was caulking on one of them. We were there and ready to install it so we just removed all the caulking. Had to pick it out out of the grooves. But we’re able to use it still. So obviously this was a used product that you shipped to me. I would like to talk to somebody about this. I would like to talk to somebody about a discount / partial refund for receiving a used product that required work to make it usable.

Thank you for your feedback. We want to clarify that the caulking you noticed on the frame is not a sign of a used product, but a standard feature of our frames. The pre-applied dry caulking is there intentionally. Once the frame is fully assembled, it creates a weatherproof seal around the door and glass, helping to ensure proper insulation and protection from the elements.
We understand it may have looked unexpected when you first received the frame, and we appreciate your efforts in preparing it for installation.

This was a big improvement over the original insert. It also had chalk on the outside piece. It looks and fits perfectly.
My tech was able to install the grid with ease. It did not take him long to do at all. I'm glad I was able to find your company! Thank God I didn't have to replace the whole door! It looks great!
The grille came much faster than I was expecting and well packed! Replaced the old one and had it up within 30 minutes of its arrival! Fit perfectly! Just as described and amazingly fast shipping! Great company!
We have this old door which is in great shape. The grid just broke. I think it's Provia door, but Provia didn't want to sell me replacement grid. So I started scouring the Internet, when I landed up on Pease Doors website. I thought I found exactly what I was looking for but was not sure if it would fit. Our contractor just finished replacing the grid. It's a perfect match. Very happy! Keep it up 'Pease Doors'👍
Enclosed door with shattered glass. Would suggest your telling all first time installers to take the door down and work on it while on glat surface. I did not at first but after a while did and the door grid installation went very smoothly then. I was down to last two screws and the glass shattered. I am calling now trying to find glass locally but finding I might be able to buy a new door easier and cheaper???
Anyway a little frustated at this point of the day. You may have suggestions? I still have one glass keep the air in and out depending on situation. yo!

If I ordered from you new glass what are the chances of it arriving in one piece?
They, weren't bad to replace ,hardest part was making sure glass didn't slide down over screw holes. They are beautiful ,fit perfect and the right size . Now the winterize trim haven't put in it. But seems simple to do. I was glad I got them because they need replacing. Thank you ,I would order them again if need to. Price was average for doors.
Came quick! Easy to install! Made a world of a difference not only with the look but with the sealing of the glass and preventing air from leaking in like the old outdated and broken ones!!
The new one next to the other door that still has an old one. I like that the grids come with adhesive already laid on them so installation takes minutes. This item was on backorder and the customer service was very transparent and followed up for me on their own when they got new information about it. I wish all customer service through all companies could take some notes.
We had to install the window into the door frame light panel assembly without removing the door and installing it on a flat surface. Definitely a 2 person job, but the French Door looks like new (with a little paint).
