Description

Door Glass and Frame Kit

New door glass can transform your entryway without the need to replace your entire door system.

The Wexford style, available in nickel and brass caming, offers a bold yet traditional look together with a good balance of privacy and visibility. Glass is clear except for the smokey grey perimeter around the central cluster.

Kit includes door glass, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Measurements:

Style: Half Sidelite (rectangular)

  • Frame outside dimensions: 10" x 38" (replaces frames 9 1/2" to 10" wide and 37 1/2" to 38" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 9" x 37"
  • Glass dimensions: 1" thick, 8" wide, 36" tall
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps, paint or stain if desired, and your project is finished! More on installation
Insulated Safety Glass

Triple pane glass (2 clear panes around a decorative middle pane) provides excellent insulation for energy efficiency. Glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.
High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)

Comes standard with high quality polycarbonate and ABS plastic blend (PC/ABS) frames. These are "High Heat" frames rated up to 200°F and are ideal if your door faces the sun or is behind a storm door that traps heat. Frames can be painted or stained without a primer. They can also be left white unfinished and are "maintenance free" meaning they won't crack or discolor even without paint or stain. More on finishing door glass frames

Please contact us for pricing and to special order tan frames (provide a better base color if you plan on staining) or modern flat profile frames (also known as shaker or craftsman style).
Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.

Very nice product. Shipping and packaging materials was outstanding. Install was easy. My door is a steel door that I cut with a rotozip blade. Once cut out was complete the window install only took about 30mins. Thank you

I debated for several months on what sidelight to purchase and then which selection to order because it was all online and you couldn't see the options in person. I talked to a few associates several times via phone, email and text and they were always very responsive. Finally landed on the Wexford and it looks amazing compared to the traditional "pane" look we had previously that had a peel and stick frosted coating on it. The sidelight looks great from the outside and the inside. It lets a lot of light through the inside and for the most part you cannot see through the glass except for a few small spots which is nice if you just want to take a peek out without opening the door. The install also went as smooth as the website shows ... I was really pleasantly surprised. This was a great front door transformation for a fraction of the cost of replacing the entire door and sidelights.

GREAT STUFF - MY MOTHER HAD OVAL TOP SIDELIGHTS AND ONE GOT BROKEN SEVERAL YEARS AGO - SHE HAD IT TAPED UP AND CALLED SEVERAL PROFESSIONAL WINDOW PEOPLE TO FIX IT - EVERYONE KEPT GIVING HER THE RUNAROUND OF HOW NOTHING AVAILABLE WOULD MATCH OR FIT AND I FINALLY GOT TIRED OF HEARING ABOUT IT - I FOUND YOUR WEBSITE AND GOT HER TO PICK OUT THE ONES SHE LIKED - I ORDERED THEM AND THEY WERE HERE IN 5 DAYS AS PROMISED - I HAD TO SQUARE UP THE HOLE SINCE OVAL TOPS ARE A THING OF THE PAST - THE NEW SIDELIGHTS WENT RIGHT IN AND WERE VERY EASY TO INSTALL - THEY LOOK GREAT BUT MOST OF ALL - MOM IS HAPPY AGAIN - THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE

The window and/or plastic frames should have been wrapped in plastic as there was some transfer of foam material on the plastic frame where the foam pads made contact with the plastic...it was relatively easy to clean with windex and goo-gone but wrapping in plastic would have eliminated the need for the cleaning effort. More so problematic was the white caulk which oozed out of the seal between the outside frame and glass. It required carefully using a razor blade to cut away this residue to make the window look nice and clean. This would not have passed your quality assurance inspection if one was performed. Otherwise, I am pleased with this item.
