Description

Door Glass and Frame Kit

New door glass can transform your entryway without the need to replace your entire door system.

The Stratford style features an iconic diamond look that is the definition of stately without being overly ornate. This is a timeless look that complements traditional homes, modern homes, and everything in between. Available in black (lead/patina) and nickel caming.

Kit includes door glass, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Style: Half Lite

  • Frame outside dimensions: 24" x 38" (replaces frames 23 1/2" to 24" wide and 37 1/2" to 38" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 23" x 37"
  • Glass dimensions: 1" thick, 22" wide, 36" tall
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps, paint or stain if desired, and your project is finished! More on installation
Insulated Safety Glass

Triple pane glass (2 clear panes around a decorative middle pane) provides excellent insulation for energy efficiency. Glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.
High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)

Kit includes standard white high performance plastic frames that resist cracking, warping, and discoloring due to heat and sunlight. Standard white frames are ready to install and do not need to be painted, but can be painted or stained after lightly sanding and priming.

- high heat PC/ABS frames (recommended if your door faces the sun or is behind a storm door that traps heat)

- tan frames (recommended if you plan on staining your frames as the tan provides a better base color for achieving dark stains)

- flat profile frames (also known as shaker or craftsman style)
Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.

We are doing a light interior remodel of our 30 year old home including flooring, bathroom fixtures and paint. We installed the Pease glass panel to brighten the foyer. It was easy to install and looks great. The frame was damaged in transit but Pease send a replacement immediately with no hassle.

The glass arrived early and we went straight to work installing it. We found that it was too hard to line up while the door was on the hinges so we took the doors off and it installed easily. We are very happy with the results. It makes our door look brand new. This project cost about $800 total and the new door we ordered and canceled cost $3600.

Window kit arrived quickly BUT no specific screws needed were included. We called and cs blamed new guys in the warehouse. Sending screws. Problem is, we had plans to have someone help with installation and have to push that back indefinitely due to Pease shipping screws via USPS!!! Snail mail!! Thanks For nothing !!! Maybe I’ll get screws sometime next week. But -all that matters is you made the sale!
