We received our door insert with blinds in a timely manner. The package and contents were in good shape. All parts were provided and install was easy. My husband and I did it ourselves in less than a hour with just a screwdriver. Pease has instructions online if you’re not sure how to do it. The fall afternoon sun streaming into the kitchen used to make it difficult to cook in there. Now, we just close the blinds between the glass and we’re comfortable spending time in our kitchen again. Having the blinds between the glass is clean and dust free. We love it! The insert is perfect for us!

Love the privacy of the enclosed blind--its small ..it allows you to see outside but not people from outside. Gave 4 starts because i want to have the feature of raising it half way and adjusting the blind light in.. but it only allows that feature when blind is completely down.

I purchased a replacement for the original that was 15 years old and had worn out. It was straight forward to self install. Plenty of detailed info supplied and videos on YouTube to review before starting. I purchased a very large unit so you definitely need a 2nd person for the installation. Once installed, I painted the trim to match the adjacent window and they are almost identical. The new window has a slightly wider operating mechanism but is real smooth to operate.

Great customer service, knowledgeable staff unfortunately I do t recall her name she was extremely friendly and answered every question I had about the insert I was interested in, and also sent me other options while on the phone with her. She even placed the order for me after making absolutely sure my measurements were correct. Communication was excellent. Also communications from the delivery company was outstanding. The insert was very large and it was packaged so securely it was prefect when received. Glass panels arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The swap was very easy and a perfect fit.
Faster shipping than expected. Our 82” x 24” standard size glass with integrated blinds arrived just 3-4 days after our order was placed and confirmed. It arrived via FedEx, so we knew exactly when it would arrive, securely packed on a wooded crate, wrapped in protective cardboard and box tape. We opted to upgrade the clear glass to the Low-E glass option to not only reduce the amount of radiant heat from the sun (during the Summer months), but to reduce the amount of heat lost during the colder Winter months. Installation was quite simple, even for the weekend DiY’er like myself. I first familiarized myself with the installation recommendations provided by Pease https://youtu.be/Pq6gaKhoQfk?feature=shared I carefully unpacked and prepared the new glass installation on my living room floor. Then, following the video suggestions, my Wife and I worked together to remove our existing glass insert which also was simple. We removed the glass frame on the inside of the door using common tools (screw driver). Then, while applying gentle pressure on the inside of the door, the existing glass insert slid out of the door cut-out. The two of us then carefully picked up the new glass insert with integrated blinds and inserted it into the door cutout which fit like a glove. The final step involved mating the inside doorframe to the new glass insert and screwing in the 24 supplied screws through both the inside and outside door frames, essentially sandwiching the new glass with integrated blinds between the two frames. I would recommend Pease door glass to anyone who is looking to upgrade their existing glass-only door to a higher-end Low-E glass solution with louvered integrated blinds for a cooler house and added privacy.
Pease Door glass installation was straight forward and simple. We opted to upgrade the glass to the Low-E version for superior insulation in the Summer and Winter months. Pictured here, the integrated door frame fit firmly and securely in place, held in place by 24 screws installed on the inside frame. Pease door came with an ample number of plastic caps to cover each of the 24 screws holes in the pre-drilled door frame.
First taking out the old one was easy and the installing new ones made me nervous because of the weight a bit heavy, but the results came out very well with help of my two daughters .
After being quoted insane figures for an alternative door install and not being offered an insert solution…I took it upon myself to find a solution and came across Pease. Inserts with enclosed blinds are seemingly hard to come by at box stores, etc for a tall door. I ordered the insert from Pease and did the DYI, refinishing and painting the door after removal of the original glass insert. Followed directions and laid the door onto the lease insert on the box it came in, cinched everything together and Voila!! Exactly what we were hoping for. Easy install, appears to be a great product and it also came very well packaged and in great shape. I still have to put in screw hole plugs and paint exterior frame to match, but overall very pleased with product! Thanks!
Was awesome took 1 hour and 45 minutes to do and it changed the whole dynamic of my house. Love it.
The box was wrapped to ensure no breakage. Some minor tools on an intermediate level, drill and jigsaw, plus one screw driver. In total from start to finish I was done in less than three hours with paint. I did this by myself but I am also a seasoned handyman. I would totally purchase again.

Was a perfect fit and match for the broken window in our French door. Can’t even tell which one was the replacement without close inspection. I’m not a professional installer so it took a little more effort than it probably should have but there was a link to online instructions covering various installation aspects. All in all it helped us find a reasonably priced solution that we couldn’t find anywhere else.

So glad I found your site! Found the mini blind insert panel for our 8’french door, my current one failed massively one day. The shipping was quick (Fed Ex Freight) and the twin glass panel and all corners were perfect! Install was the super easy and this actually was the easiest little punch list item I’ve had in awhile. I only wish my other projects around the house were as easy as this one was! While I cannot speak to longevity if the insert, to me the initial quality looks great and shipping to Texas went well!

I have managed to install the window frame with built in blind with some difficulty, but nothing major. I thought that installation would be much easier if one side of the window frame was already affixed to the window itself. Also, it seems that blind inside the windows is not the highest quality. Every time door is moved (opened or closed) the slats of the blind move a little bit and stay uneven. To fix that blind needs to be closed all the way and then opened again. Overall, I'm happy but few tweaks the good product would become excellent.
Thought it was a little difficult to install. Had to tape the outside so we could get the inside screws installed. The screws are too long and won't seat in far enough to install the white caps. Have to figure out a work around to hide the screws.

My ~84 x 24“ mini blind inside the glass windows for French patio doors came as delivered, promptly, and without damage. Because of the size of the doors, it was best to remove the doors and work on them, as was advised on the installation instructions. I had a general contractor friend help me, but afterwards I feel I could’ve done it with the help of one or two other untrained but house handy friends, however, it did go much quicker with his experienced help. Removing the old windows and prepping the surface was the most labor-intensive part and that was not even that bad. Putting the new window back in was fairly easy. Putting in the little plugs over the screw holes on the frame is a bit tedious but a necessary step for the finished look. Putting the door back on the hinges because of its size was a bit of a challenge, and although we did it with two people, a third set of hands as advised on the installation instructions would probably be beneficial. As far as the product goes – they look beautiful! Just as I had imagined. Blinds go up and down and close easily. As long as I can prevent the window from getting broken 🤞🙏🏼 they will look and function well for years to come. I would definitely recommend this company based on the product, customer service interaction, and their ability to deliver their product across the country in a short period of time. They are not cheap by any means, however, the upgrade in style as well as eliminating the need to get new vertical blinds, and the idea of not having to dust blinds, which is a frequent chore here in the desert of Arizona, I feel they are well worth the money.
