Description

Door Glass and Frame Kit

New door glass can transform your entryway without the need to replace your entire door system.

Grills Between Glass (Internal Dividers or Bars) style. Internal flat 5/8" bars give a more modern divided light look while keeping the glass easy to clean.

Kit includes door glass, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Measurements:

Style: Full Lite (rectangular)

Standard Size:

  • Frame outside dimensions: 24" x 66" (replaces frames 23 1/2" to 24" wide and 65 1/2" to 66" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 23" x 65"
  • Glass dimensions: 1/2" thick, 22" wide, 64" tall

Narrow Size:

  • This size is typically found on narrow (30" and narrower) doors
  • Frame outside dimensions: 22" x 66" (replaces frames 21 1/2" to 22" wide and 65 1/2" to 66" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 21" x 65"
  • Glass dimensions: 1/2" thick, 20" wide, 64" tall
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps, paint or stain if desired, and your project is finished! More on installation
Insulated Safety Glass (Low-E Optional)

Double pane insulated glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.

Also available in Low-E tempered glass, which we recommend for applications where energy efficiency is needed, for example in areas with cold winters/hot summers (especially if the door receives direct sunlight).
High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)

Material & Painting/Staining (detailed painting instructions included in box):

Frames are made of a high quality polycarbonate and ABS plastic blend (PC/ABS). These are "High Heat" frames rated up to 200°F and are ideal if your door faces the sun or is behind a storm door that traps heat. Frames can be painted or stained without a primer. They can also be left white unfinished and are "maintenance free" meaning they won't crack or discolor even without paint or stain.

Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.

Installation was simple but placing the finishing legs inside the holes were a pain. Overall, I would recommend as ordering and install were straight to the point! Easily upgrade our builder grade front door into something stunning and elegant.

I didn’t get any instructions with it for installation. I probably missed some link to a place on the Internet with the instructions. Nevertheless, there was enough, so I knew which part to put on the outside and which part to put on the top. And a few cautious notes that made it work. It did not take for a long to install the new window, but I already had the old one out too. These guys are easy to work with.

Great product easy install with the exception of inserting the screw hole plugs, it takes a bit of fineness to get them in without damaging them. I was wondering why Pease provided twice the number of plugs required but it was evident by the time I finally got all of them installed. I did brake one of the glass panels during installation but Pease worked with me and we got it resolved to my satisfaction. I definitely recommend them for your DIY window/door projects.
