Before installing, one screw was stripped and stuck in the plastic frame. One peg couldn't slip into the hole in the opposite frame because the peg was broken off. However, we made it all work and it's fine.

I really like this little update on a budget (as opposed to changing the whole door). The new window makes a difference. This is our second door update in our house. I had to take a star down because the grid between the glass shakes a little and makes noise when you close the door. We didn’t have that issue with the first one though. Otherwise, it’s a really nice update and fairly easy installation. To make it manageable I recommend taking the door off the hinges prior to install.

After my patio door glass got shattered by a stone from my lawn mower, I called all the local big box home improvement stores about a replacement glass panel. They all thought I had two heads or something, they told me I would need to buy a replacement door. I even called a Glass Door and Window contractor, who told me they could stop over in a week and give me an estimate. I found Pease Doors by searching on You Tube, and when I called, the woman was so amazing, so helpful, and gave me easy and precise advice on what I would need. The Panel was delivered very fast, and I actually replaced it myself, in about 20 minutes, it was so easy. It does help if you have some skills, otherwise I would recommend having a helper in the process. It was a perfect fit, and I plan to order this same panel for my stationary patio door that is part of this entire unit, for a matching look for my patio entrance. I had measured the opening and they made sure I received the exact window size I needed. Plus installation was less than 45 min with the removal of original glass. First one we ordered shattered…have no idea why. We didn’t do anything to cause it, we have replaced two inserts with no problem, but it shattered while tightening the last screw. Called CS and they gave us $40 off the second one which barely covered shipping. This one went in fine, doing the exact same thing as before. $400 turned into $800 right before Christmas, but what are you going to do?

I did have a minor problem with the full 15 lite door panel. At first I tried to install it without removing the door. The glass caulk had apparently not been under compression long enough so that when the panel was in the vertical position in the door opening it slipped enough so that you could not fit the internal frame in place. I had to remove the panel from the door and lay it on the flat floor supported by 2×4's. and reposition the glass in the frame. Then I removed the door from it's hinges and laid the opening on top of the frame and glass and fastened the internal frame on the inside of the door. I would highly recommend that your customers do it this way

the hardest part of the project was removing the frame screws from the new glass. you guys had them in too tight.It was all downhill from there The new glass and frame fit perfectly . I am very happy with the finished project and will be ordering 2 more to complete the doors

The old glass had lost the seal between the two glass panes that allowed moisture to enter and once dried it left water stains inside. No matter how much you cleaned the glass, the stains where always visible. The new glass with the grid on the inside looks great and matches the windows' grids.

From the old failed windows that you could barely see through. To clear, beautiful, and supper-easy-to-clean windows in about an hour. Big Bang for the buck project. No real skill required. One good screwdriver and some tape. Do it.

This was the cheapest and best solution to “lighten“ up my kitchen door Area. It was relatively easy to install, if you have the proper tools. For a novice, instructions with the window insert would definitely be helpful. My kitchen door turned out so nice, I purchased another window insert for my back pool area door. It also turned out beautiful and made the interior of my living room brighter.
