Printed, read and re-read the directions. Then highlighted what me and "my helper" needed to do. "My helper" was my wife. She reviewed the directions I then visually explained each step especially the "trading places" and started . I placed the outside portion and then we traded places and she held it in place while I installed the inside portion. The whole process took less than 10 minutes and the door was not taken off its hinges. Things couldn't have gone better and everything looks great.

This window was an exact replacement for the old broken one in my door and fit the opening in the door perfectly. New window was precaulked and sealed completely against the door. I have just purchased replacement weatherstripping for the door from Pease that appears to be the exact replacement also.

The first window shipped was not the right one, but the contact was very helpful getting the wrong one shipped back and the proper one sent. Window was simple installation , but we were shorted 4 screws so I had to make a quick trip to the hardware store to fin some that would work. We are happy with the final outcome.

Replaced my old, early 90s-looking stained glass insert with this frame/glass kit, added some rice paper and now this cheap steel door isn’t so bad! Arrived quickly and was carefully packaged!

Look much better than old (original) units. Delivery and service were great.
There are several issues, some more important than others:
a) I ordered two units. In both cases, I was short screws and had to use some old ones that were nearly stripped.
b) There must be a better way to fill the screw holes. The plastic inserts sometimes don't work (fortunately there were extras) and sometimes can't be set flush. Wonder if some sort of filler would be better. Have tried to sand them off but am worried about being too aggressive and damaging molding or just popping them out.
c) Most importantly, it wasn't clear to me that they would be difficult to paint. Would have preferred the "paintable" version. Most of the recommended primers are very expensive or unavailable. Spray painting with might have worked had I realized before the install. Rules for what to paint on top of primer are complicated, and I don't want to paint whole door (inside and out) with new color anyway. This has taken a lot of time to figure out, and I am still taking risk that the paint won't hold.

We had a solid door separating the utility room and garage. I didn’t like it and wanted to be able to see into the garage as well as letting light into the utility room. We couldn’t be happier. Doors with this setup are quite pricey these days. I had ordered one thru a local company, but after a 3-week wait I canceled the order and bought directly thru Pease. The window arrived within 3 days and it only took my husband about an hour or so to install. Big improvement.

The project went well. However, 5 of the plastic locating pins were broken. I think that this happened when the frames were placed on the glass panel during assembly before packaging. I managed to epoxy them back on. Also, I found the plastic buttons that cover the screw holes very difficult to put in. They were not the same as the first unit (rain glass) that I installed.

This product absolutely exceeded my expectations. I bought this glass to install in a standard metal insulated door without a window. This project was ridiculously simple. My only suggestion would be for the company to do a video and put a link to it in the paperwork that comes with the glass, because I had to seek that out myself since there weren't any real instructions. Other than that, the entire project took me an hour, the fit was flawless, and the glass was pre-caulked which made it even simpler. The glass looks great, the frame pulled flush all the way around the door, and the screw covers fit well. This turned a room that was like a cave so bright you don't even need to turn on a light in the daytime. Solid packing and good shipping time . It's sad that you notice such things anymore given the pathetic nature of a lot of these companies, but I would buy from Pease again.

I measured my door wrong for the window replacement and ordered the wrong size window. Returning the window was a breeze and when I got the correct window, the job took maybe 10 mins. It was the fastest and easiest job I’ve completed on this project.

It fits the "reconditioned/repurchased" door which was hard to find to for my basement access point.
Only drawback was dealing with the shipping company which is a different story. (Purposely delayed it's arrival and driver didn't do his job.)
I'd recommend that when shipping frames with glass is to keep the 2 halves of frame sort of separate as one corner broke on me while easing to separate it upon installing it to the door.
I'd recommend it highly to hard to find replacement frames AND price is right. (As a whole kit.)

Our original lite had a wood frame that rotted after 25 years the door is metal and the frame was aluminum clad so those parts were still in good shape. We ordered the framed lite kit. We watched the video and it was great. It was an easy project and cost a lot less than replacing the whole door. The delivery was quick and perfectly packaged.

A couple of things that I think you should know:
1. The alignment pin holes were blocked with grout or something similar which didn’t allow the install until I drilled them out.
2. There is a piece of debris between the two pains of glass (looks like insulation). I’ve taken a picture which I’ll try to attach.
Other than those items, I like the appearance and feel that the value was very good.

This was a great project that most people could do. Measure twice cut once! That’s 80% of the job! It took only an hour because I measured three times!!
