Description

Door Glass and Frame Kit

New door glass can transform your entryway without the need to replace your entire door system.

Kit includes door glass, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Measurements

Style: 3/4 Lite (rectangular)

  • Frame outside dimensions: 24" x 50" (replaces frames 23 1/2" to 24" wide and 49 1/2" to 50" tall) PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR FRAMES ARE NO MORE THAN 50 1/8" TALL (best to measure frame on inside of home if exterior frame is cracked/warped).
  • Door cutout dimensions: 23" x 49"
  • Glass dimensions: Select 1/2" or 1" thick, 22" wide, 48" tall
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps, paint or stain if desired, and your project is finished! More on installation
Insulated Safety Glass (Low-E Optional)

Double pane insulated glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.

Also available in Low-E tempered glass, which we recommend for applications where energy efficiency is needed, for example in areas with cold winters/hot summers (especially if the door receives direct sunlight).
High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)

Kit includes standard white high performance plastic frames that resist cracking, warping, and discoloring due to heat and sunlight. These are "High Heat" frames rated up to 200°F and are ideal if your door faces the sun or is behind a storm door that traps heat. Standard white frames are ready to install and do not need to be painted, but can be painted or stained after lightly sanding and priming. More on finishing door glass frames
Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.

The process was extremely easy, installing the widow was easy as long as you measure twice cut once. My wife is extremely happy with the new look of our front door. I added some window film (crackeled glass) that give the glass privacy.

Really excellent product, with quick shipping. Transformed my front door and was very easy to install. It took my husband about 1.5 hours to install the door glass and sidelights. Was very please with the outcome, it was easier than I thought to cut out the hole and install the glass. The delivery was quick and the install was done within 30 minutes after I had painted the door. The price was great compare to buying a new custom size door. Save me over $2,000 dollars including the install. My door was an all wood door.

After damaging the original glass in the back door I had purchased from Therma-Tru. I attempted to contact them to get a replacement glass. To make a long story short, Therma-Tru customer service was severely lacking an essentially nonexistent. So after doing some research online, I found Pease Doors and their replacement glass kits. After verifying the measure as per instructions, the 3/4 lite was a perfect match. When the kit arrived, the replacement of the glass was painless except for when I dropped the old glass panel on my shin while removing it (another story for another day). Overall I am very pleased with the new glass and will be ordering another one for the other door.

We replaced our windows and we wanted the insert on the door to match our windows- Now we have a clear view of our patio. Easy installation, i think the hardest was scraping the old insert’s silicone off the door before installing the new one. It was done in less than 1 hr. Did not need to take the door off the hinges.
