20-year limited warranty. Details
The Berkley Half Lite Shaker fiberglass entry door features decorative Berkley glass in the upper section paired with a larger flat Shaker-style lower panel, creating a balanced design with increased privacy at the lower portion of the door. The flush glazed glass is permanently integrated into the door slab for a sleek, streamlined appearance with a larger visible glass area. Built with Premium Build fiberglass construction for lasting durability. This door features a Satin Smooth (white) surface texture optimized for painted finishes. This design works well with coastal, casual, and cottage-inspired homes where light, style, and durability are equally important.
The Berkley glass design features clear glass paired with granite beveled glass accents and finished with patina caming that highlights the geometric pattern. The combination of beveled detailing and textured elements creates layered dimension while maintaining a relaxed, casual appearance that fits naturally with coastal and cottage-inspired homes.
With a lower privacy level, Berkley glass allows generous natural light to enter while maintaining an open and welcoming feel at the entryway. The mix of clear and textured surfaces softens visibility without fully obscuring views, making this design an excellent choice for homeowners who prioritize brightness and decorative style over maximum privacy.
The Half Lite Shaker configuration features an upper glass section paired with a larger solid lower panel, creating a clean and balanced design that allows natural light into the home while maintaining increased privacy and durability at the lower portion of the door. The simple geometry of the Shaker layout makes this style especially popular for modern, transitional, and farmhouse-inspired homes.
Flush glazed doors feature glass that is permanently integrated directly into the door slab rather than mounted inside a removable frame. This construction creates a sleek, streamlined appearance with a larger visible glass area and fewer visible trim components, allowing decorative glass designs to stand out while maintaining a clean, cohesive look across the door surface.
The lower panel features a flat Shaker-style profile with crisp, square edges that create subtle shadow lines without ornate detailing. This minimalist profile delivers a modern architectural look that balances the flush glazed glass above with clean, understated panel detailing below.
This door carries a 20-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, from the date you buy it. Coverage is full for the first year, then prorated.

Yes. 36" x 80" is what the door is called; the slab itself measures 35-3/4" x 79", which leaves the gaps a door needs to swing and seal. Measure your old slab to be sure, or send us your measurements and we confirm the fit before we build.
A slab is just the door, for a frame that is square and in good shape. A complete door system is the door hung in a new frame with the threshold, hinges and weatherstrip: choose it if the frame is rotted or out of square, or if you are changing the opening. The Door System Calculator turns a rough opening into the right size.
Stand inside the home, facing the door. If it swings toward you it is an inswing door, and the knob side names the hand: knob on your left is left hand inswing. For an outswing door, use the hinge side instead.
Choose a cut-out option and we cut the opening in our shop for the matching glass kit. Glass kits are listed by the outside size of their plastic frame, which is 1" larger than the cut-out (a 23" x 37" cut takes a 24" x 38" kit), and a shaped cut (round top, arch or oval) needs a kit of the same shape.
In-stock items that need no shop work ship the same or next business day. Shop work starts once everything is in stock: 1 business day for prep, 1 to 3 for finishing, and 2 to 5 to assemble a complete door system. Doors go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days, economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. The estimate under the price updates for the size and options you pick.
