The wood floor had trapped the original threshold (brass colored). I wouldn’t have known how to get the old one out and install the new if it weren’t for the video you sent me. You can see in the close-up that I still have yet to paint the wood wedges added to the door jamb. But other than that, it looks great!
Great product! Perfect fit and looks better than the crazy plastic original threshold! Just wish it came with stained, treated plugs to cover the large screws. I know we need to adjust the threshold depth and door swing closure. Plugs would add to the beauty of the final appearance! Overall I am very pleased!
I wasted time searching Amazon and Home Depot for a 32” door threshold. My search on Pease Doors site was same as working with an expert. I needed a 32 inch threshold. When I entered this in their online questionnaire, the online response told me about my door and told me the size thresholds that I needed plus showing me choices. Price was fair. Delivered in 2 days. I found installation directions on their site: put it on the floor and slid it under the door frame. Tap it into place if needed. Caulk the edges. My install experience took 5 minutes! It is sturdy and looks great!!
Better quality than what I took out. I think it is sturdy and will last a long time in my rental. Will definitely think about replacing my old ones at home. However, I repeatedly measured for height and ended up having to plane off an 1/8 inch so it door would clear. Not sure what the fault was as I'm a noob at doors. And yes I trued the door
The product fit just fine. However, the quality of the one I purchased from the original threshold, no comparison. The one purchased can easily be damaged as it flexes with just walking on it. The original was solid with no flex at all. It works and looks good. Just not the same quality.

Hi Buddy,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad to hear the product fit well and that you’re happy with the look and overall function.
We’re sorry to hear it didn’t meet your expectations in terms of rigidity compared to your original threshold. We appreciate the comparison and will share your comments with our product team for review as we continue evaluating materials and design improvements.

I designed and made these doors with African mahogany and wanted a threshold that matched the quality of the doors. I cut it to fit and I'm happy with the outcome. Also bought weather stripping. Nothing wrong with it but wasn't happy with the fit so Pease deducted cost from my order. There was a small gap between the doors at the bottom and Pease sent (no charge) small corner pads. Not designed for that purpose so I cut it to fit. It filled the gap but will have to see how it works over time. They were very helpful with my questions. Great service.
Very happy with the quality of this threshold, installed very simply and easily (not counting demo of the old one). Seems like it will last awhile but only time will tell!
Shipped quickly, would buy from Pease again.
Horrible this is the second one I’ve purchased. I’ve been waiting three weeks to finish this door as much money and time as I have put in it I could have paid someone to do it correctly in 15 minutes.

We installed it in less than two hours. It fits perfectly and is beautiful. No more drafts!
Two contractors said they could not make one and refused the job. One trip to the Pease website and we were ready!
Easy Pease-y to install and one of the few to offer the "High Dam" threshold, especially in the color scheme and the width we were targeting. We are delighted!
Getting someone to answer questions took a few attempts - so I guessed and ordered and hoped for the best..LoL. The wood on the old one had rotted and needed replacement. The new threshold fit perfectly - slid right into place.
The threshold is quality made, fit very well for the use intended and was a fair price. This is the second threshold I have purchased from Pease and will highly recommend
The threshold worked pretty much as advertised, I'm pleased overall. If you look at the pic of the cutoff you'll see that the tongue on the base plate doesn't align with the groove in the adjustable cap, and the resulting threshold thickness is ~1 1/4 in. My locale lumber yard couldn't locate a 1 1/8 in threshold which is why I ordered this one from you. The seal on the bottom of my door compresses enough that it works satisfactorily.
Great quality! Solid wood and good, heavy aluminum. Had to make some modifications for it to fit my very non-standard 1940s door frame, but installation went great and I'm very happy with it.
Did not need a pry bar at all. This was a garage door with a concrete floor. Took a block of wood and a mallet and tapped the old threshold out from the outside inward. The wood was rotted on the ends so it came out easy.
Thank you!
We had a rotting threshold with some very blown out weather stripping. I am not handy at all and relied on the provided instructions. I had to trim the threshold down to fit, but it worked amazingly. Between the weather stripping and the new threshold, we can’t hear the cicadas outside anymore, and there is no hot air coming in from outside!
