How we estimate
Most in-stock items that need no shop work leave our warehouse the same or next business day. Ordering by 12 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, gives yours the best chance of shipping the same day.
Shop work starts once everything is in stock: trimming, cutting or prep takes 1 business day, finishing (priming, painting or staining) 1 to 3, and assembly, such as a prehung door system, 2 to 5. Out-of-stock items without a restock date usually ship in about 2 weeks, plus any shop work.
Ground parcels take 2 to 4 business days. Doors, sidelites and other large items go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days and economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. Weekends and carrier holidays aren't counted. These are estimates, not guarantees.

This is a great doorsweep if you do not know what brand door you have or do not know how your current door sweep attaches to your door. It is also a great choice to replace drive-on or staple on sweeps where you do not want to remove the door from its hinges.

1. Open the door and remove the old sweep. If the old sweep is screwed or otherwise tightly fastened to the bottom of your door, you may need to remove the door from hinges.
2. Slide the new sweep on, using a block of wood or a hammer as needed to tap the sweep into place.
3. Trim excess with scissors, shears, or a small hand-saw.
4. Adjust the sweep up/down as needed to tightly seal (overlap about 1/8") against the top of your sill.
5. Install screws on inside of home, drilling pilot holes as needed (especially if you have a steel door). We recommend flat head 1/2" long screws. For wood or fiberglass doors, use pan head wood screws, course thread. For steel doors, use sheet metal pan head screws.

The product came bent and damaged . It cannot be used at all.
two of the slots are torn completely through.
I would like it replaced with better shipping, if possible. I need this product to finish a job.

Order #85979 was delivered the day I left on vacation out of state. I have returned from vacation and opened box to install but the sweep is delivered damaged, see photos.
Also tried to call phone number given fro twice and let it ring for three minutes each time but know answer

I bought a door sweep for our 42” front door a year ago because it was coming apart. I contact customer support and they were helpful and knowledgable and offered to replace it because of the short life with only the requirement that I text them a photo of it. The new sweep came in short order and is now working well.
Full disclosure, I think the reason that the first one failed was improper installation on my part. I installed the replacement strictly according to the helpful on line instructions and I am confident that it will last much longer. Great customer service and support
Packed quite well, arrived promptly a week ago. I just installed it. There was no previous doorsweep but I had to remove the stuck-on vinyl bottom strip on the outside and also the convex vinyl insert in the aluminum threshold. It is SNUGger than a bug in a rug so much so, I hope the bottom ridges don't wear off as the door is used. time will tell.
The sweep slid on fairly easily with some slight hammer tapping. The sweep was snug on the latch side of the door, due to an unevenness of the door itself. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and product.
This 42" door sweep, cut down from a 48", works just like I had hoped. It fits snug, has a relatively stiff and sturdy U channel shape that fits a 1-3/4" wood door, and has two longitudinal bubbles with flexible fins in between the bubbles. Remove the door to remove the old sweep, prepare the old door bottom, and I stapled this new sweep on with a bead of silicone between the door bottom and the U channel. I also repaired the splintered bottom edges of this older door and repainted it. The new sweep will protect the bottom edges going forward. One can adjust the threshold wood strip up to the sweep so it lightly seals. Too much contact will ruin the sweep as will door sag over time. Be sure to adjust the door sag periodically so as to give the sweep a long life.
It was too narrow and did not fit on my standard door. Plastic snapped when I tried to push it on. Had to throw it out. Would help to know what door thickness it is designed for. Clearly did not fit 1.75 in door.

Old sweep wore out. Door manufacturer offered no replacement. First attempt at a sweep (not from your site) failed since fins were 1/2 inch. Too long. This sweep with 3/8 inch fins was perfect. As an aside, the threshold was already in a fully lowered position. Additional sweeps were ordered to assist neighbors with same problem.
First package arrived damaged. Call and have a nee one shipped that day. New product arrived in great condition and worked perfectly. Could not be happier with the service.
The original door sweep was never delivered due to "damage". When I notified Pease Doors they did a great job and sent a new one right away, but this new door sweep was also damaged slightly. We installed it as we did not want to wait for a replacement.

The item purchased was a replacement for another slide on sweep. The fins on the bottom were a bit shorter than what I removed so the door opened and shut easier, and it was more likely not to wear off from rubbing. This was the third one counting the original sweep that was installed on the door, and I think this one will last a long time.
The service was great. After receiving a defective part initially, I took pictures and sent the pictures back and they immediately sent me a new product and it worked fine. Much Appreciated.,

Pease Doors was great to work with. There was a little damage during shipping and Pease was quick to respond and communicate a solution. Will definitely order from them again!
The product was a perfect fit and pretty well designed. However the shipping box was bent and there was a crack through one of the screw holes. That could use a stiffener in the box perhaps. There weren’t any screws with it as well.
Good replacement for a staple on type door bottom sweep. This one allows some height adjustability and will make for an easier replacement when the fins eventually wear out.
