Description

Door Glass and Frame Kit

Venting door glass is a great option for kitchen doors or any area where you want the option to let in a nice breeze. Our venting door glass features a removeable screen and 7 height adjustments to allow for desired airflow.

Kit includes door glass, removeable screen, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Installs with screen (vent) on the bottom and the venting area is roughly 40% of the lower portion of the unit.

Measurements

Standard Size:

  • Frame outside dimensions: 24" x 66" (replaces frames 23 1/2" to 24" wide and 65 1/2" to 66" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 23" x 65"
  • Glass dimensions: 22" wide, 64" tall

Narrow Size:

  • This size is typically found on narrow (30" and narrower) doors
  • Frame outside dimensions: 22" x 66" (replaces frames 21 1/2" to 22" wide and 65 1/2" to 66" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 21" x 65"
  • Glass dimensions: 20" wide, 64" tall
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps and your project is finished! Insulated Safety Glass (Low-E Optional)

Double pane insulated glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.

Also available in Low-E tempered glass, which we recommend for applications where energy efficiency is needed, for example in areas with cold winters/hot summers (especially if the door receives direct sunlight).
High Performance Frame

Kit includes standard white high performance plastic frames that resist cracking, warping, and discoloring due to heat and sunlight. Your white frame is maintenance free, does not require paint, and will not yellow. Due to the design, we recommend you do not paint this frame.
Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.
