High quality threshold available in two heights and several finishes. Perfect for replacing or upgrading an existing threshold that has rotted, cracked, or deteriorated. Straightforward installation does not require removing jambs or door.

Threshold is customizable from 101" to 156" in width (in 1/16" increments)

High quality threshold in aluminum mill finish. Perfect for replacing or upgrading an existing threshold that has rotted, cracked, or deteriorated. Straightforward installation does not require removing jambs or door.

Note that this is a BUMPER style threshold, where the face of the outswing door closes against the weatherstripping installed into the threshold. Bumper style thresholds are common on outswing patio doors.

Specifications:

  • Comes WITHOUT NOTCH (flat edge) -- can be notched on job site to fit into standard 4 9/16" jambs
  • 5.8125" in depth (typically known as a standard 6" threshold)
  • 1.5625" Tall with 1/8" weatherstrip kerf (included)
  • Hardwood rail (ash or oak), composite base to resist rot, high grade aluminum sill
  • For residential entry doors with 4 9/16" standard width jambs (typically used with 2x4 framing)
