How we estimate
Most in-stock items that need no shop work leave our warehouse the same or next business day. Ordering by 12 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, gives yours the best chance of shipping the same day.
Shop work starts once everything is in stock: trimming, cutting or prep takes 1 business day, finishing (priming, painting or staining) 1 to 3, and assembly, such as a prehung door system, 2 to 5. Out-of-stock items without a restock date usually ship in about 2 weeks, plus any shop work.
Ground parcels take 2 to 4 business days. Doors, sidelites and other large items go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days and economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. Weekends and carrier holidays aren't counted. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Coordinating Sidelite Panel with Decorative Vapor Glass
The Vapor Craftsman fiberglass sidelite panel features vapor-textured glass in a rectangular upper section with a solid Craftsman-style lower panel. The flush glazed glass is permanently integrated into the panel surface for a sleek, streamlined appearance with a larger visible glass area. Built with the same fiberglass construction as our entry doors for a consistent look and feel across your entryway. Available in Satin Smooth (white) and Rift Cut Woodgrain (tan) surface textures to accommodate painted or stained finishes. A great option for assembling a new door system with sidelites or for replacing an existing sidelite panel.
Decorative Vapor Glass That Creates Soft Light and Movement
The Vapor glass design features a softly textured surface inspired by the shifting movement of clouds and the glow of the Northern Lights. The gentle, flowing pattern creates an ethereal play of light and shadow across the glass, giving the design a relaxed appearance that complements casual, coastal, and transitional home styles.
With a medium privacy level, Vapor glass allows natural light to enter while partially softening visibility from the outside. The diffused texture spreads light evenly across interior spaces without completely blocking views, making this design a strong choice for homeowners who want a balance between brightness, privacy, and subtle visual texture.
Craftsman Sidelite Panel Design
The Craftsman sidelite panel features a two-panel layout with flat, square-edged panels arranged vertically to create the clean, structured proportions associated with classic Craftsman architecture. The upper panel is sized to align with the upper panel of the matching Craftsman entry door, and the lower panel spans the height of the door's two lower panels, creating a cohesive horizontal rail alignment across the full entryway when installed together.
The upper panel can be cut out to accept a glass insert for added natural light, or left solid for maximum privacy and durability. The straightforward geometry creates subtle shadow lines that add depth without ornate detailing, pairing naturally with Craftsman, bungalow, farmhouse, and transitional-style homes.

Questions buyers ask
Will a 35-3/4" x 79" slab fit my 36" x 80" door frame?
Yes. 36" x 80" is what the door is called; the slab itself measures 35-3/4" x 79", which leaves the gaps a door needs to swing and seal. Measure your old slab to be sure, or send us your measurements and we confirm the fit before we build.
Slab only or complete door system: which do I need?
A slab is just the door, for a frame that is square and in good shape. A complete door system is the door hung in a new frame with the threshold, hinges and weatherstrip: choose it if the frame is rotted or out of square, or if you are changing the opening. The Door System Calculator turns a rough opening into the right size.
Which way does my door open?
Stand inside the home, facing the door. If it swings toward you it is an inswing door, and the knob side names the hand: knob on your left is left hand inswing. For an outswing door, use the hinge side instead.
Can I add my own glass later?
Choose a cut-out option and we cut the opening in our shop for the matching glass kit. Glass kits are listed by the outside size of their plastic frame, which is 1" larger than the cut-out (a 23" x 37" cut takes a 24" x 38" kit), and a shaped cut (round top, arch or oval) needs a kit of the same shape.
When will it ship?
In-stock items that need no shop work ship the same or next business day. Shop work starts once everything is in stock: 1 business day for prep, 1 to 3 for finishing, and 2 to 5 to assemble a complete door system. Doors go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days, economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. The estimate under the price updates for the size and options you pick.
