One cartridge handles the sealing and bonding that comes with a door project. This one part hybrid adhesive sealant bonds to wood, PVC, aluminum, glass, concrete, marble, and painted surfaces. It cures into a flexible rubber that moves with your door frame through every season, it will not shrink or crack, and it takes paint when you want the bead to disappear into the trim.
Where it works on a door install
- Seal brickmould and exterior trim to siding

- Seal the jamb to siding joint around the exterior perimeter

Working time and cure
The caulking skins over in about 20 minutes at 77°F and 50 percent humidity, so tool the bead soon after you run it. It reaches tack free in about 40 minutes and cures at about 1/8 inch of depth per 24 hours. Once cured it stays flexible from -75°F to 220°F and handles brief exposure up to 250°F.
