Spring hinges are a great option for doors that require self-closing to meet building codes or just doors that should close on their own for privacy and security reasons.

We recommend these hinges for doors that are heavy or near the coastline as the 304 solid stainless steel resists rust and provides durability and strength for smooth operation (prevent sagging doors). 

Additional specifications:

• Hinges measure 4" by 4" with 5/8" radial outside corners
• This is the most popular size and shape for residential exterior doors
• Great for hanging new doors or replacing hinges on existing doors. Hole pattern matches most Castlegate spring hinges (see hole pattern diagram in image gallery). Can also be adapted to fit many other door brands by patching screw holes. Just make sure that your existing hinge matches the overall size and shape
