Was very easy to install and fit with minor adjustments but stain was still very wet after 6 hours of drying hopefully it dries overnight to add another coat

How we estimate
Most in-stock items that need no shop work leave our warehouse the same or next business day. Ordering by 12 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, gives yours the best chance of shipping the same day.
Shop work starts once everything is in stock: trimming, cutting or prep takes 1 business day, finishing (priming, painting or staining) 1 to 3, and assembly, such as a prehung door system, 2 to 5. Out-of-stock items without a restock date usually ship in about 2 weeks, plus any shop work.
Ground parcels take 2 to 4 business days. Doors, sidelites and other large items go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days and economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. Weekends and carrier holidays aren't counted. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Aluminum astragal with bronze finish and stainable trim. This is a floating or moveable astragal with bolts that slide into the head jamb and threshold, so the doorway can be fully opened up (without the astragal post blocking the center of the doorway) when desired.

Dimensions & Specifications:
- Select 79" or 80" length (should match length of door slab, not including sweep, within ~1/16")
- Astragal is .75" wide between doors (can fit gap between doors from .75" to 1.125") and 1.75" wide at widest point on door exterior (overlapping onto door face .5" onto face of each door)
- Inswing astragal (for doors that swing into the home)
- SELECT HANDING: From the inside of the house, if the astragal is attached to the door on the RIGHT, then you need a RIGHT HAND astragal. If the astragal is attached to the door on the LEFT, then you need a LEFT HAND astragal (see illustrations below)
Installation
1. Align astragal on the edge of the less active door
2. Drill through mounting holes in astragal into fixed door using 1/8" drill bit
3. Secure the astragal to the door edge using the (6) #10X3.4" pan head screws
4. Install short piece of vinyl snap-in cover between nylon strike plate base & bottom bolt, cut to fit with pin holder in retracted position
5. Install strike plate with (2) #8X1/2" screws to nylon base
6a. If dead bolt is not used, locate nylon dead bolt base with cover right above strike plate. Install long piece of vinyl snap-in cover between dead bolt base & top bolt.
6b. If dead bolt is used, locate nylon dead bolt base for desired centerline location. Cut the long piece of vinyl snap-in cover to fit between dead bolt base & top bolt. Cut off will be used between strike plate base & dead bolt base.
7. Install dead bolt plate to nylon base with (2) #8X1" screws

Arrived quickly, packed very well. Fit perfectly. So I happy that I did not attempt to salvage the old one when installing new slabs. I would have appreciated a video tutorial, instructions are lacking.

Super easy installation! Replaced an older wooden astragal that had been shredded by a cat. Took stain nicely, and looks great; installation took about 30 minutes, including the time, it took me to trim the piece down to fit the door. Great product!

I used an expresso , all in one gel coat stain for the outward facing part of the astralga and left the inside face unstained to match my oak tiles to my entrance way. Looks really good. Install was quick and easy. Thanks Pease!!
It was all fine except I don't understand what I received. I thought I paid extra for a bronze finish. The finish was a wood grain. Not what I thought I ordered.
perfect fit works perfectly
I bought this astragal to replace the wooden one on my entry French door. With the original astragal, I could see light and feel the cold or hot air coming through the gap with the size of the gap changing according to weather. I think the wooden doors are from the original 1970's construction and are in excellent condition. I hand never heard of Pease before but after looking at their information online, I felt they knew what they were talking about. I was not disappointed. The astragal arrived without damage and on time. It was the correct depth for the door. The 80 inch length allowed me to trim down to size to allow me to adjust according to my irregularities. I now have a sealed gap between my doors. One thing I find challenging is inserting the strip in the channel. The material is so stiff. I will try squeezing with a pliers and inserting. Anyway, thanks Pease for having the product I so needed.

It fit perfectly. I tried to stain it but the stain didn't take, I opted for paint instead. It is a project I have been wanting to do for many years. I am very happy to finally have it done. The door closes and seals so much better now. I am very pleased with the outcome.
Not only was the customer service amazing,, the shipping was exactly as Pease suggested,, but the product could not have fit and replaced our old door trim any better. We could not be happier!
