How we estimate
Most in-stock items that need no shop work leave our warehouse the same or next business day. Ordering by 12 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, gives yours the best chance of shipping the same day.
Shop work starts once everything is in stock: trimming, cutting or prep takes 1 business day, finishing (priming, painting or staining) 1 to 3, and assembly, such as a prehung door system, 2 to 5. Out-of-stock items without a restock date usually ship in about 2 weeks, plus any shop work.
Ground parcels take 2 to 4 business days. Doors, sidelites and other large items go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days and economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. Weekends and carrier holidays aren't counted. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Interior Door Lock
The EMTEK Round Knob with the Modern Rectangular Rosette: a crisp, flat-faced disc knob on a slim modern rectangular rosette, pure and modern. Solid brass.
Fits standard interior doors 1-3/8" thick with a 2-3/8" backset. For a thicker door or another backset, please contact us.
Select passage, privacy, dummy or keyed:
Privacy: Locks from the inside with a turn button; no key required. Commonly used for bedrooms and bathrooms.
Passage: Latches but does not lock, for rooms that don't need privacy, like hallways or closets.
Dummy: A decorative knob that doesn't turn or latch, for fixed doors or the inactive door of a pair.
Keyed: A keyed knob (Emtek's key-in-knob) that locks with a key from outside and a turn button inside, for offices, storage rooms and side doors (not in Antique Brass).
Finish options include:
- Unlacquered Brass – Solid brass with no protective lacquer: a living finish that darkens to a warm patina with time and touch. Polish it with a brass cleaner to bring back the shine.
- Satin Brass – A soft, brushed gold.
- Antique Brass – A warm, aged brass with darker highlights.
- Satin Nickel – A soft, brushed silver that suits almost any style.
- Oil-Rubbed Bronze – A deep, aged bronze with copper highlights.
- Flat Black – A smooth, matte black.
Made to order by Emtek: allow about 10 business days before it ships.
This product carries a 5-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, from the date you buy it. Coverage is full for the first year, then prorated.
- Install it as the manufacturer directs, in the USA. Damage from improper installation, storage or modification isn't covered.
- To claim, use the form on our warranty page within 60 days of finding the defect, with your order number.
Shipping
Ships by ground parcel with UPS, FedEx or USPS: 2 to 4 business days once it leaves us. Tell us about any shipping damage within 15 days of delivery.
Free pickup at our Cincinnati warehouse is available at checkout.
Returns
Return it within 30 days of delivery if it's unused, uninstalled and in its original packaging. Return shipping is yours to pay. Start a return in our returns portal.
