How we estimate

Most in-stock items that need no shop work leave our warehouse the same or next business day. Ordering by 12 pm Eastern, Monday to Friday, gives yours the best chance of shipping the same day.

Shop work starts once everything is in stock: trimming, cutting or prep takes 1 business day, finishing (priming, painting or staining) 1 to 3, and assembly, such as a prehung door system, 2 to 5. Out-of-stock items without a restock date usually ship in about 2 weeks, plus any shop work.

Ground parcels take 2 to 4 business days. Doors, sidelites and other large items go by freight: Priority Freight takes 2 to 5 business days and economy freight 7 to 15; you choose at checkout. Weekends and carrier holidays aren't counted. These are estimates, not guarantees.

Door Glass and Frame Kit

New door glass can transform your entryway without the need to replace your entire door system.

Kit includes door glass, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Measurements

Style: Extra Wide Full Sidelite (rectangular)

  • Frame outside dimensions: 16" x 66" (replaces frames 15 1/2" to 16" wide and 65 1/2" to 66" tall)
  • Door cutout dimensions: 15" x 65"
  • Glass dimensions: Select 1/2" or 1" thick, 14" wide, 64" tall
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps, paint or stain if desired, and your project is finished! More on installation

Insulated Safety Glass (Low-E Optional)

Double pane insulated glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.

Also available in Low-E tempered glass, which we recommend for applications where energy efficiency is needed, for example in areas with cold winters/hot summers (especially if the door receives direct sunlight).

High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)

Kit includes standard white high performance plastic frames that resist cracking, warping, and discoloring due to heat and sunlight. These are "High Heat" frames rated up to 200°F and are ideal if your door faces the sun or is behind a storm door that traps heat. Standard white frames are ready to install and do not need to be painted, but can be painted or stained after lightly sanding and priming. More on finishing door glass frames

Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.

Removal and replacement of the sidelight next to our front door was surprisingly easy. My wife and I continue to be blown away with the difference between our old sidelight and the replacement from Pease. Just a couple of simple steps: take accurate measurements of your existing sidelight (I spoke with Pease on the phone which helped confirm that I was measuring correctly); remove the old sidelight (removing the plastic covers over the screws takes a minute--Pease supplies replacements, so I drilled a small hole in each plastic cover which made removing it easier); install the new sidelight (helps to have someone outside to push on the glass)
