Door Glass and Frame Kit

New door glass can transform your entryway without the need to replace your entire door system.

The Saxon design is the most elegant and refined decorative glass style that we offer. It contains ornate bevels, intricate textures, and a breathtaking central cluster that helps a door make a strong first impression. Available in black (lead/patina), brass, and nickel caming. This glass style offers more visibility relative to privacy, thanks to the large central cluster composed of clear beveled glass.

Kit includes door glass, inside and outside door glass frame set, screws, and screw caps.

Style: Oval - MEASURE GLASS WIDTH AND HEIGHT DIRECTLY TO ENSURE FIT

Small size:

  • Frame outside dimensions: roughly 16" x 39"
  • Glass dimensions: 1" thick, 13 7/8" wide, 36 7/8" tall (existing glass must be within 1/8" of width and height)
Easy Installation

Our kit makes installation easy and quick. The outside frame comes pre-caulked to the glass. All you need to install the glass kit into your door is a screwdriver to secure the inside frame to the outer frame. Cover the screw heads with the included plastic caps, paint or stain if desired, and your project is finished! More on installation
Insulated Safety Glass

Clear glass ovals come with double pane insulated glass that has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.

Decorative glass ovals come with triple pane glass (2 clear panes around a decorative middle pane) that provides excellent insulation for energy efficiency. Glass has been tempered for safety and thermally sealed to be air and water tight.
High Performance Frame (Paint/Stain)

Material & Painting/Staining (detailed painting instructions included in box):

Frames are made of a high quality, impact resistant polycarbonate and ABS plastic blend (PC/ABS). These frames are also "High Heat" rated up to 200°F (ideal if your door faces the sun or is behind a storm door that traps heat). Frames can be painted or stained without a primer. They can also be left tan or white unfinished and are "maintenance free" meaning they won't crack or discolor even without paint or stain. The tan frames are a better option if you plan to stain your frames, as they will provide a more wood-like background color and will require fewer coats of stain.
Cleaning

Avoid contact with abrasive cleaners and solutions containing corrosive solvents or acid solutions. Glass can be cleaned using a soft cloth, and glass cleaner.
