Door 'fulcrumed' on some boxes inside the door when opening it suddenly. Middle hinge splintered large chunk of leg. Bought the Pease leg, cut for the splice and it worked GREAT. Hinge measurement landed exactly right at 31 inches from top of middle hinge mortise to top of bottom hinge mortise (Pease leg specs).
Terrific product and perfect solution! Thank you for selling these. - Jim

Hello Randol,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the hinge locations didn’t align with your existing frame.
It looks like you ordered a prepped hinge jamb leg, which is made to our standard hinge spacing, as noted in the product description. Based on the Jeld-Wen hinges shown in your photo, your original spacing differs from our standard, which is why things didn’t line up as expected.
In cases like this, a blank jamb leg (without pre-cut hinge mortises) is often the better option, as it allows for custom placement. We’d be happy to help you find the right fit—please reach out to us at info@peasedoors.com, and we’ll work with you to get what you need.
This item arrived in great condition, excited to install it.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to hear the top door jamb did not meet your expectations.
The top jamb should include the appropriate kerf for the weatherstripping. If yours is missing, we'd like the opportunity to review the issue and determine the best resolution. Please contact us directly at info@peasedoors.com and include a few photos of the top jamb and the entire door frame. Once we receive them, our team can evaluate the issue and assist with a replacement if appropriate.
We appreciate the opportunity to make this right.
