Single 81" magnetic strip for use on lock and head jambs of metal-edged doors.
High reach weatherstrip is a serious upgrade for doors that need a tighter seal against the elements and pests. A great option if you can see daylight around your door from inside the home or if you can feel a draft, for example on older doors that have settled slightly out of alignment or in cold climates where stripping shrinks over time and the wind blows cold air at the door with force.

The weather strip arrived in a crushed and partially opened box, it may have been damaged during shipping. However upon inspection of the weather strip it was very dirty like it had been sitting on a shelf for years, but because it didn’t appear damaged I cleaned and installed it. The installation was very easy and the weather stripping worked well.

My weatherstripping on an astragal was no longer functional. Everybody said that I would need to replace the astragal. I found this weatherstripping on the site and decided to order it. Fit perfectly.

Removed older plastic frame around original glass in metal "Johnson "door and installed new plastic frame from Pease. I had to buy 2 eight inch u-clamps in order to squeeze together the inside and outside plastic frame. I did this in a linear sequence with clamps placed about 3 inches on each side of the screw. This enabled the factory supplied glue/caulk to be squeezed tightly so that please plastic frame was flush with the window surface. I then removed the original weatherstripping and replaced with the Pease metallic weatherstripping kit. Fit perfectly in the jamb kerf and sealed well against the door. I also added the 4 rubber corner peal and stick pads obtained from Pease. In summary, very happy with the dimensional fit of these products.

Quick and easy install. I liked being able to trim it to size with just scissors. And there’s a much better seal than the old stuff we had. Will be ordering for all of our doors.
Had to replace weather stripping with a magnetic edge for a steel door. Printed instructions and video were very helpful in helping me "adjust" the weatherstripping to achieve a good seal on the door (by prying the barb partially out of the kerf as needed). Also, the "high reach" weatherstipping available from Pease Doors was a much better fit than the "smaller" size weatherstripping available at big box stores. Very satisfied with the product and the customer service (ordering online, shipping, and speedy delivery).
Not consistent thickness around door. I know door isn’t perfect but expands wider in some sections than others
High quality weatherstrip with nice magnet closure. Unfortunately the second set I ordered is too wide for my other door, will be ordering the smaller standard size to install on that door.

We have a metal door that needed new weather stripping after we painted the exterior of house. It was suggested we get white to match the paint job. But as you can see light shows though on inside and it barely covers the gap. It is slightly thinner than the original stripping. But this was the only kind we found that matched the style we had. So kind of disappointed that we see gaps now. Doesn’t look good.
I wanted to repair my 35 year old door instead of replacing it. I thought it was going impossible to find a replacement gasket with the age of the door. I was surprised that the gasket was still available. I went to work. I repainted the door. Added new hinges as well a new lock and of course the new gasket. The door is now in perfect condition seals nice and tight keeping out the cold drafts and looks almost new. Much better than spending hundreds installing a new door.

The new magnetic seal did a great job sealing the door. Before the seal was installed, there was daylight showing when the door was closed, now there is a nice tight seal, no daylight! The old seal was a rubber compression seal that had been in place for 40-50 years.

Exceeded my expectations. Should have taken a before photo. Had black weatherstripping that had been splattered with white paint over decades. Looked awful. The new white magnetic completely upgraded the seal and aesthetics. Installation took maybe 15 minutes..... Measure twice, cut once. 5 stars!!!
The old weatherstripping (44 years old) was split/ripped. This was an exact match for the equally old steel door. I just pulled out the old and inserted it the new weatherstripping. The only additional prep was to press in/back small pin nails that were originally used to secure the kerf in the slot about every 10 inches with a small chisel.
Installation was easy. Looks great from the exterior. The translucency of the material makes it look like the door is not closed when viewed from interior (second picture).
The old seals were discolored and cracked. The new kit fit great and is a nice bright white. Perfect and easy to do.
Installation was easy but I did have to remove the door to install the new sweep. It fit well after some minor trimming at the ends. The magnetic and hinge side weather stripping also fit well after some minor trimming.
Brown color matched and weatherstrip fit perfectly! Will be looking to get bottom sweep pieces
