The recommended weatherstripping fits very well, easy to install and the door closes!! We tested for leaking with a blower and flame and there is about 6 inches of leaking top left, but I can live with that. Thanks very much. Mary Ann Browne

High reach weatherstrip is a serious upgrade for doors that need the tightest seal possible. A great option if your existing weatherstrip shows daylight or if you can feel a draft, for example on older doors that have settled slightly out of alignment or in cold climates where rubber tends to shrink, and the wind blows cold air at the door with force.

So much better than “big retailer” version, and not a big price difference! This was the first seal I ever replaced (the former owner of the house had no idea what they were doing, had several pieces of foam weatherstripping on top of each other). My first attempt allowed wind to whistle through the seal; then I discovered Pease Doors and ultimately the solution.
I've been very busy so it took awhile for me to get to it., but it didn't take long to put the weather stripping in. Seems to work really well. All I have to do now is see how long it lasts.
Original weatherstrips were not contacting well. These seem to have done the trick.
New version has no installation in it. Worthless.

New threshold and weather stripping. Easy to install, though i had to cut out the bottom frame to insert the threshold because the tile floor was a 1/4 inch higher...and i removed some rotten wood and replaced it. Excellent top quality products.

Indifference and incompetence seems to be the norm now. 81" pieces of weather strip were doubled over multiple times to be jammed into much shorter box. Thanks to the lack of insight the rigid spine is now ruined. Is there any more oversight left in these businesses??

What a difference this has made for this front door! The drafts have stopped, with the realization that the summer a/c cool air, and the winter's furnace heating won't be lost through the gaps in the door frame anymore. Should have done this years ago.

My cat scratched up my previous weatherstrip, and was letting light/bugs in so it needed to be replaced. Had a temporary fix with cheap Home Depot foam and besides my door being a little hard to close and it looking ghetto as fuck it did the job. This weatherstrip, while it does make it looks nice and fit very well; allows for my room to be lit up like a Christmas tree at the crack of dawn (Pictured). They said I get 10% off if I write a review and I’ll definitely need that after buying this.

Our new puppy shredded the old door strip😳 so I wanted a sturdy replacement to drop right in. Fits perfectly very easy to install right in the channel. Let's see if it holds up!

Replaced weather strip on 25-year-old entrance door and had no problem inserting the new strips. Door is very snug. Still see light around the door but that is probably translucence.
Used to have a nice gap of light in the top left corner. This product worked great to seal it when all my other options failed!
My English Setter opens the door to let himself back in when he's done outside. Unfortunately, it scratches/sands the door and jam and shreds the rubber door seal. I cut out the damaged seal, cut a replacement piece from the seal kit, and repaired the damage...temporarily, until he shreds it again. The kit affords many repairs in the years to come! Since we live in very rural Montana, I'm not too concerned about how the door looks. I'd rather suffer that than find a large wild animal in my house via a typical "dog door"!
We followed the Pease Doors instructions for the “high reach compression weatherstripping” to replace the aged existing weatherstripping at the front door. The installation of the new weatherstripping’s “flange” into the head and jambs kerfs was easily done. The door seals, closes, and operates properly with the new weatherstripping. We are pleased with the outcome.
High quality product. I’m not certain yet but it could just be the quality of the build of the door that is causing the light gaps on the one side of our door, not the seal itself. The seal installed beautifully otherwise.
