The door are flawless. I wasn't familiar with poplar so I was a little nervous. It is quite scratch resistant and the grain very consistent.

The slab that was purchased on this order, was a replacement for one that was provided on order #126133. The project was a couple of years in the making and the doors were one of the last things to be installed. 4 of the 5 slabs from the original order were fine and look great. The 5th one though looked like it had been pieced together with small brad nails and glue. The areas where the nails are located, have an area of glue that would not take the stain and looks blotchy. I have photos that I can send if needed. I have another project that I'm looking at but am considering an alternative source for the doors. Your response would be most welcome.

Door looks exactly as described, and the wood is high quality with even grain. It arrived in only a couple days packed well with no damage at all.

Door shipped fairly well, box was opened on 1 end. Door looked nice, but will need lots of sanding to remove dings and scratches (don't think from shipping, it was covered in 2 layers of plastic) and smooth out sharp edges. Looks pretty well made.
