Commercial Ball Bearing Hinge
Ball bearing hinge in polished brass finish. Hinge measures 4" by 4" with 5/8" radial outside corners. We recommend this hinge for commercial or very heavy residential doors (typically solid wood doors or 8' doors with decorative glass).
Straightforward installation does not require removing door from frame.
Comes with screws for wood jambs. If you have a steel frame (jambs), please re-use your current screws.
Note: Hole pattern does NOT match Pease standard hole pattern.

Pease Door has some hard-to-find hardware and great service. I contacted them on the weekend not expecting a response until the following Monday at best. What a pleasant surprise in today's world to receive personal service on the weekend. Fast shipping...really a blast from the past when customers had names and stores strived to exceed expectations instead of doing the very least required to see their wares. Thank you,
Polished Brass Commercial Ball Bearing Hinge Set (4" x 4", 2 hinges in set)
The hinges were very well made and looked great. The commercial hinges were recommended for heavy doors which I have. The problem is the commercial hinges are 1/16" thicker than regular hinges. When installed the door would not close or open properly. I had to body slam the door closed and pull with both hands to open. The only way for the door to work was to remove 1/16" on the door and the door frame where the hinges attached. I didn't have the ability or tools to do that and wasn't going to pay $100+ to hire someone. I removed the hinges and put my old painted ones back in. Had to eat my issue.
